~ Neotinea ustulata, a small and rare orchid bound to dry limestone biotopes. In Sweden it's most commonly found on the limestone islands Gotland and Öland located in the Baltic sea.
I love how clear and defined this photograph is. The artist controlled the blur and placement of the flower in the photograph with apt precision. However, I feel that it is not very original, because it does just seem to be another flower picture captured the same way as many other flower pictures. That aside, the technique is impeccable and the impact is great; both caught my eye and held my attention in a pleasing and soothing manner. I enjoyed looking at this beautiful flower and I also enjoyed how it was captured and placed. In all, I really enjoy this piece and will be looking at other photographs from this artist.
