It's a lovely species!
Too bad it's a lousy picture though, the weather was really bad that day. :S
well, maybe not terrible, but it could have been much better if the conditions were better ^^

Oh. The genus of Ophrys is amazing. X)
There is only one native to Sweden, Ophrys insectifera, best places for them is around the Mediterranean. The islands often have a few endemic species as well. I went to Rhodes with the Swedish Botanic Association, but Crete is supposed to be the best island for ophryses, and orchids in general. But Turkey is also supposed to be a very good place for Ophryses.

hmm.. I heard Sardinia had a few too, I've got to check out Crete and Turkey one of these days.
