This was shot at a Heather moorland. This particular Heath has a most interesting flora, including Pulsatilla vernalis, Pulsatilla vulgaris, Diphasiastrum tristachyum and Gentiana pneumonanthe. Only Diphasiastrum tristachyum was seen on my visit, which also was the first time I've been there. I plan to go there again in may to hopefully find both Pulsatilla vernalis and P. vulgaris in full bloom. Gentiana pneumonanthe blooms much later in the year, august to september, but is something that I plan to see this year as well.
If you think it's dark, that's because it was rather late and the sun had almost dissapeared. But I like this effect, even if it's not very sharp.
