The whole genus is known to deceit males of different wasp species as they have apperances and the same pheromones as the females. They and up pollinating the orchids as they try to copulate with them, over and over - with different flowers of course. Interesting about this behavior is that there are at least two other genera doing the exact same thing. It seems to be working! Orchids are truly wonderful with their innovative designs!
